CREATION FEST '09

We have just returned from Creation Fest '09! The Gorge at George...what better place to give "Tribute to our Creator" ?

Hawk Nelson and Skillet kicked things off . Skillet's female drummer was AWESOME!

David let Marita give him a faux Hawk and it looked pretty cool on him.

We took excrusions away from camp to swim a couple times as well as going to WalMart & Starbucks. The heat got the best of us at times as you can tell by the looks of Mandy. LOL.

Celina went with Grandpa on a water run. "Fill 'er up, please."

And what would camping be without a manicure? An apparently smelly manicure at that.

Celina danced herself into sheer exhaustion every night. Everyone around her loved watching the joy she had as she expressed herself in dance. Now the expressions of being tired....not so joyful.

REGGIE DABBS: "I can...you can...we can...I got your back." Oh yeah!

At the end of it all....David sums it up well. That thing on his face was actually glowing in the dark while he slept like that. Cracked us up.

Rainier Assembly of God. A lighthouse in the darkness!

We had a wonderful time taking the youth down to Rainier Assembly of God. The spirit of God was moving and kids were touched!

There were prophesies spoken over Mandy, Chris S, Chyanne and over the entire Thelander family.

Nicole was filled with the Holy Spirit (evidence of speaking in toungues and being slain in the spirit)
Chyanne was filled also!

Pastor Jake and I had us being here re-affirmed and prophesies spoken over us as well!

There is a harvest coming to this valley and we must be ready!

Also this week we are going to Rainier Assembly of God in Rainier, OR to visit the RAG Youth!

Big Kids!

Youth Ministry at Family Worship Center is up and running. We have had a few activities as well as youth services on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM. Recently we enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt for big kids, but because of the weather, we had to do it in the church.

Nicole found an egg in an odd place and Cheyenne enjoyed assessing her "spoils" from the hunt.

APRIL STUFF

Sunday April 5th - Our first Youth Service @ 6 pm in the large fellowship hall.

Easter Sunday: Youth Easter Egg hunt in the twightlight. Candy, prizes and running around in the dark. It doesn't get any better than this!
